Chamber Committees

Chamber committees offer members a valuable opportunity to get involved, build connections, and help shape the programs and initiatives that support our regional business community. Serving on a committee allows members to share ideas, contribute their expertise, and play an active role in advancing the Chamber’s mission.

Committee membership is open to employees of all Chamber members in good standing. Unless otherwise noted, committee meetings are held at the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber office at 29 West Broadway in downtown Derry.

Ambassador Committee

The Chamber’s Ambassador Committee serves as a welcoming link between the Chamber and its members. These dedicated volunteers help strengthen the business community by welcoming new members, attending events, and encouraging engagement among local businesses and organizations.

Acting as representatives of the Chamber, Ambassadors help members make the most of their membership by promoting programs, answering questions, and helping build valuable connections—creating a positive member experience and a stronger, more connected business community.

The Chamber’s Business Education Collaborative connects local businesses with area high school students to help prepare the region’s future workforce. Through partnerships with schools and employers, students gain insight into career pathways, workplace expectations, and the skills needed after graduation.

Signature initiatives include the Mock Interview Program, where business professionals help students practice interview skills and provide feedback, as well as Teen Job Fairs that connect employers directly with students. Together, these efforts help strengthen the link between the classroom and workplace while building the region’s future talent pipeline.

The Commerce & Economic Policy Committee focuses on strengthening the region’s economic vitality by supporting local and regional economic development initiatives and fostering a business-friendly environment. The committee highlights trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting the communities we serve and the industries that drive our local economy.

Through signature programs such as the Chamber’s Annual Economic Development Update, which features updates from the towns we serve and leaders from key economic sectors, the committee provides valuable insight into regional growth and development.

The committee also connects members directly with policymakers and changemakers through events like State of the State and From Coffee to Concord with local state representatives. These conversations help ensure the business community stays informed and engaged on legislative issues that impact the region’s economic future.

The nonprofit Collaborative meets quarterly (roughly) to enjoy featured guest speakers, connect with fellow nonprofit leaders and supporters, exchange practical tips, and learn real-world best practices that can be applied right away. These events provide a welcoming space that is open to both member and non-member nonprofit organizations, as well as supporting businesses. The Collaborative invites all who are passionate about strengthening our region’s nonprofit sector. Join us for learning, collaboration, and shared insight!

The Chamber’s Annual “Margaritaville” Golf Tournament is the perfect opportunity to promote your business in Southern NH with a tropical twist! Usually held in May, our tournament is a great way showcase your company, enjoy time with a top client, or connect with a potential customer—all while kicking off the summer season and soaking up island vibes. Our tournament combines fun, networking, a little golf, and a lot of laid-back paradise atmosphere!
